General Practice Staff Survey 2026: Encourage your teams to have their say

BarnetCamdenEnfieldHaringeyIslington

The NHS General Practice Staff Survey (GPSS) 2026 opened on 5 October, giving colleagues working across general practice an opportunity to share their experiences and have their voice heard.

Thank you to everyone who has already taken the time to complete the survey. Practices are encouraged to support eligible colleagues to take part.

The survey takes around 15 minutes to complete, and participating organisations may allocate up to 15 minutes of Protected Learning Time (PLT) to support staff participation.

Reminders for colleagues

  • look out for a personal email invitation from generalpracticestaffsurvey@qualtrics-survey.com
  • consider using the available PLT to complete the survey
  • complete the survey by Friday 27 November 2026.

Why every response matters

  • The survey is confidential and independently administered
  • It gives staff an opportunity to share what is working well and what could improve
  • Feedback helps build a better understanding of staff experience across general practice
  • Practices and PCNs with 10 or more responses will receive anonymous organisation-level results.

Every response matters. Thank you for creating the time and space for colleagues to have their say.

If you have any queries, contact the Primary Care Planning & Operations team, marked for the attention of Sarah Pallis, Primary Care Planning and Operations Senior Manager.
