Getting the best from WNL Primary Care Professionals Website

News and information for primary care staff, from WNL ICB and other local contributors, is published daily on the WNL Primary Care Professionals website. For example, check out the homepage at any time to see the latest news, and click on any item to see the full story.

You don't need to wait for and share a weekly email to see what's going on, you can see the latest additions and updates to the website at any time by opening the Bulletin List feature. Simply click on the klaxon symbol, seen at the top right of most pages, and browse the current list. Clicking on any item in the list will take you to more detailed content.

Why do I need to register or log in?

Logged-in users are able to customise their location, so that they see content relevant to the boroughs they work in. They can also use the bookmark feature to readily find content of interest. Logged-in users can see more content, including some sensitive content that is not available if you do not log in, such as a list of hospital bypass contacts.

For the best experience, we would recommend that you set up a user account and log in when visiting the website. If you have an NHS or GOV.UK email address, you can self-register for a user account from the website home page, it only takes a moment.

Is there still a primary care weekly newsletter?

Any visitor to the website can see a list of the latest updates on the website, which traditionally would be included in a newsletter. At any time that suits you, just use the online Bulletin List feature described above.

A weekly email bulletin following the traditional newsletter format, is sent to registered users. If you prefer to get your news summary that way, you still can. It acts as a useful reminder, giving you a nudge, in case you missed new content that appeared during the week.

To make it easier to find items that interest you, and to keep it a manageable read, the bulletin email includes items in brief only and links to the relevant website page for more detail. The website is the primary home for the information and is available to you 24/7.

You can subscribe or unsubscribe to the weekly email on your my account page.
