The Camden & Islington Wheelchair Service supplies wheelchairs, seating, and accessories for children and adults, offers mobility and postural assessments, and provides customised seating and wheelchair modifications for users with complex needs.
Drop-in clinics on a Wednesday are available
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusions
- patients of all ages registered with a GP in Camden or Islington
- patients with a long-term disability that limits mobility.
Exclusions
- patients who require a wheelchair for less than six months
- patients undergoing rehabilitation or who are not medically stable
- patients requiring outdoor-only powered mobility
- patients living in a nursing home/residential home who need a wheelchair for transit only.
