Fit & Active Barnet

The Fit & Active Barnet (FAB) Hub is Barnet's one-stop resource for physical activity, health and wellbeing. It helps residents become more active, improve their health, and access a wide range of local opportunities and support services across the borough.
Through FAB, residents can access:
- the FAB Activity Finder, featuring local activities, classes, clubs and programmes
- information on physical activity and wellbeing opportunities
- weight management and healthy lifestyle support
- inclusive and accessible activities
- community-based opportunities to support -social connection and wellbeing
- the free FAB Card, providing access to discounts and special offers from participating partners.
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusions
- aged 18+
- Barnet resident or registered with a Barnet GP
- currently physically inactive or undertaking low levels of physical activity
- living with long-term health conditions and would benefit from being more active
- seeking local activity opportunities to match their needs and interests.
Exclusions
- needs urgent medical assessments or treatment
- has unstable or unmanaged medical conditions that would make participation unsafe without further clinical advice
- require specialist rehabilitation, physiotherapy or other clinical interventions beyond the scope of service
- are unable to engage safely in community-based physical activity without specialist support.
