Children's services at Royal Free London (RFL) provides a wide range of services from birth to 18 years of age, at various trust sites.

Urgent referrals Royal Free Hospital

For very urgent assessment of an acutely ill child at the Royal Free Hospital (RFH), either on the same day or the following day, contact the consultant paediatrician using the number above (bleep 1000). Once confirmed, email the referral to rf-tr.paedsurc@nhs.net

Please note: If you have not discussed the referral with the consultant paediatrician and an appointment has not been confirmed, your referral will not be accepted.

Contact the paediatrics consultant hotline (Monday to Sunday, 9am–9pm).

For urgent referrals out-of-hours, call the NMUH switchboard on 020 8887 2000 and bleep 195 for the paediatric registrar.
